College Research Policy
1. To develop research aptitude and outlook among students and faculty.
2. To promote and encourage research attitude among students and faculty
3. To create awareness regarding research among students and faculty.
4. To inculcate academically curious temperament among students and professors
5. To study local problems and suggest appropriate solutions.
6. To foster research culture in the college
7. To increase participation of students in innovation competitions
8. To encourage the staff to accomplish Major and Minor Research Projects.
9. To promote interdisciplinary research
Goal Strategies:
1. Organizing research oriented workshops and competitions at the college level
2. Providing Basic facilities (computers, reference books, internet, photocopying etc) to the students and the staff
3 To provide financial assistance to research students and faculty for publishing research papers and participating in conferences
4. Giving projects to the students under the supervision of teachers to study and research local problems and find out solutions.
5. Organizing department wise student seminars
6. Sanctioning Duty Leaves (D.L.) for research work.
Financial Provision
• The research committee of the college is advised by the principal to provide funds to staff and students for attending seminars, conferences and workshops etc.
• The committee encourages and provides fund to the students to participate in research orientated competitions like Aviskar and Innovations which are organized by SPPU.
• The committee also provides fund for research papers publications.
